The highways are taking the lives of more and more motorists. The death toll in Austin continues to rise as one driver’s negligence leads to an accident that injures another driver. Even harder to deal with is when that fatal accident involves a family member or a friend. An Austin family is certainly grieving the loss of the motorcyclist that died in this fatal accident.

The fatal accident occurred in the evening near a fitness center. The accident involved a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. Investigators are unsure at this point if either party was negligent, but the investigation continues. So far no charges have been filed against the surviving driver, but investigators have been told that the driver of the motor vehicle pulled out from the fitness center and side swiped the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist died on the scene.
