In a complaint filed by the U.S. Justice Department on behalf of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, a federal court judge has ordered Titan Medical Enterprises to shut down all operations until the company meets certain FDA standards. The company has been ordered to stop production and distribution of drugs and other dietary supplements until their operations meet the standards of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Pharmacies across the nation have been asked to stop selling Titan’s products immediately.

The court has discovered that the organization did not adhere to the current Good Manufacturing Practice for dietary supplements and drugs. Titan violated the Act by using unapproved drugs in their supplements.
