December 19, 2012by Aaron Allison

An apartment building located in southeast Austin has become a safety concern for the residents. The property owners are facing premises liability problems related to the safety of the complex construction.

The problem started months ago when the walkway on the second floor collapsed. According to recent reports, the walkway still has not been replaced. The owners of the apartment complex were summoned by the Austin Buildings and Standards Commission to provide an update to the code inspectors as repairs are made.
