No Fee Unless You Win
A February 11 motor vehicle accident involving a Sterling City ambulance left three people dead, according to KXAN. The accident happened early in the day near Carlsbad, Texas as the ambulance was transporting a 45-year-old man to a hospital in San Angelo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident was weather-related with icy conditions leading to the ambulance losing control and veering off to the side of the highway where it flipped upside down and caught fire.
The 45-year-old patient and his 43-year-old brother, who was riding with him to the hospital, died at the scene. In addition, a 52-year-old paramedic was killed in the wreck. The 45-year-old ambulance driver survived the crash but had to be taken to a hospital for what were reported to be “incapacitating injuries.”
