No Fee Unless You Win

We have always said that pedestrians have the same right to safe transit as motor vehicles. Unfortunately, Austin has had an increasing drunk driving problem that is putting all pedestrians at risk of being injured or killed. If a drunk driver has injured you in a pedestrian accident, you need experienced personal injury attorneys.
According to KVUE, 12 deaths have resulted from DWI-related crashes this year in Austin. Most recently, a drunk driver fatally injured popular Austin blogger Kelly Wayne Noel while he was crossing a street near 7th and Interstate 35.
The death of Noel and other victims of drunk drivers have caused a widespread outcry from the public for something to be done about the growing problem.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo held a press conference on the heels of Noel’s death and said he is fed up with drunk driving. KVUE says that Acevedo is calling for a DWI summit in which leaders from area governments, transportation systems and criminal justice agencies come together to figure out how injuries and deaths caused by drunk drivers can be prevented.
Pedestrian accidents caused by drunk driving have reached a tipping point in Austin. At The Law Offices of Aaron Allison, we always fight for the rights of our clients injured by drunk drivers, which is why we strongly support Chief Acevedo’s call to action for a DWI Summit.
No one should live with the grief of losing a loved one to a drunk driver while walking on our streets. Help us make Austin a safer place for pedestrians by taking steps to end drunk driving.
Did You Know: According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2012, one person died every 51 minutes due to drunk driving.
