Austin residents forced to evacuate dangerous apartment building

Be it a workplace or a residential complex, the employees or tenants probably don’t think much about getting hurt due to dangerous building conditions. There is an implied understanding that the owner of the premises will provide reasonably safe working or living conditions. All owners need to be aware of the dangers that exist within their property. Austin premises liability law prohibits owners from pleading ignorance to any dangerous conditions on their premises.

The Austin Police Department recently had to evacuate 18 apartment units of a residential complex. The building had some structural problems that were deemed to be dangerous to the occupants of the apartments.
