No Fee Unless You Win
Injuries have been known to occur on the job from time to time, but when death is the result, it becomes every employer’s nightmare. The loved ones of a Texas man who allegedly drowned after being struck by a flailing hose are filing a lawsuit against three different companies on the basis of premises liability gross negligence, and product liability.
The man was supposedly working with a water pump when the pressure suddenly built up, causing the hose to flail around and knock the victim on the head. The blow to the head caused the man to fall into a nearby water retention pond and drown. The companies involved are National Pump and Compressor, Caprock Energy Services, and Chesapeake Energy Corp. They are all being sued by the family on various legal theories, including premise liability.
