One of the victims in a hit-and-run accident near Austin, Texas, filed a lawsuit against two former police officers. The car accident allegedly occurred in Fort Worth when the officers’ car ran a red light and collided with the accident victim’s car. The vehicle that was hit was carrying four passengers; three people were treated and released at the scene of the accident and one needed to be hospitalized. The defendants, who were off duty when the accident occurred, were suspected of drunk driving.
