No Fee Unless You Win

An Austin pedestrian was recently killed after an accident on Interstate 35 near Parmer, closing two northbound lanes and one southbound lane. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to a nearby hospital after sustaining critical injuries. He died shortly after.
There has been a recent spate of pedestrian accidents in Austin. In late November, a man in his 40s was struck by a vehicle along Slaughter Lane and died at the scene. In late November, Vision Zero held their annual Day of Remembrance vigil for pedestrians who have died in Austin since last year, which number at least 60.
Sadly, when automobiles and pedestrians collide, the pedestrian often suffers catastrophic injuries, including ones that can lead to fatality. And to lose a family member or friend in an accident as preventable as pedestrian accidents can be absolutely devastating, especially when that loved one is a family breadwinner.
In addition to the grief of losing a loved one, loved ones of fatally-stricken pedestrians have to deal with mounting financial costs that can include medical bills, lost wages, funeral and burial costs and more. While money is likely the last thing on your mind if this scenario happens to you, it is highly important to discuss your loved one’s death with a wrongful death attorney in your area. Your attorney can assist you in getting your case filed so you can take care of what’s most important in this trying time – your family. Our law firm has a long history of success representing the victims of fatal pedestrian accidents.
